High-Mu Power Tetrode

The Svetlana 4CX400A is a compact, high-perveance radial beam tetrode having a plate dissipation rating of 400 Watts with forced-air cooling. The 4CX400A is intended for Class AB1 SSB linear RF amplifier service. Because of the unique internal geometry of the Svetlana 4CX400A, the tube will operate at low plate voltage with high efficiency. This advantage is possible through the use of an electron trapping geometry which reduces secondary emission at low plate voltage. Fast cathode warm up for quick operation.

The Svetlana 4CX400A is manufactured in the Svetlana factory in St. Petersburg, Russia. The Svetlana 4CX400A is widely used in Russia and other independent commonwealth states where it carries the type number GS-36B .
